One of the most rewarding aspects of Civil War music is the opportunity to meet other people who play these unique instruments, and we
have been fortunate to meet and perform with some wonderful musicians in other Civil War bands around the country.

Members of the 12th New Hampshire Regiment Serenade Band, the Excelsior Cornet Band, and the Regimental Volunteer Band of Wisconsin
have joined The Federal City Brass Band in Gettysburg on
Remembrance Day for the past two years.

A highlight of our experience at the
2004 Great American Brass Band Festival in Danville, Kentucky was our "Battle of the Civil War Bands"
with Saxton's Cornet Band of Lexington.

At
Cedar Creek in 2003 we were joined for impromptu playing sessions by members of the 28th Pennsylvania Regiment Band and the
Providence Brigade Band.

Check out the
2003 National Civil War Band Festival page for photos of some of the other 13 Civil War bands at that festival.

We hope to be able to add more photos to this page as we continue to make friends in other bands.
